Slipways is a turn-based strategy game set in space. It is necessary to unite the planets to create a trading empire from them. It is necessary to collect resources, develop infrastructure, study technologies, etc. The timer is active. You are given only 60 minutes to achieve your goal. Therefore, there is no time - you need to act as quickly as possible! Game mechanics combine elements of strategy, management and puzzles.

It is required to colonize planets, select sectors of development, connect them with each other so that they can interact, etc. The gameplay is focused on trade, not war. It is important to develop trade relations here. It is possible to conclude contracts, opening new supply routes or building long-term plans with a particular company. There are a total of 6 different planets available. Each of them is represented by unique resources and technologies. You have to prove yourself as an economic strategist, forgetting about the language of force. Only management and the skill of diplomacy will allow you to quickly expand your sphere of influence.

It is important to make the right decisions when building trade routes with neighboring continents. There is no time to hesitate here, because there are only 40-60 minutes to build a real interstellar empire. In Slipways, there are about 80 technologies available to study, but 10 are selected in each match. There is procedural generation that makes each new run unique. The entire run takes 25 years. The campaign mode consists of collecting resources, exploring the nebula of space, meeting unknown races and going through various scenarios with different goals.
