Paper Bride 3 Unresolved Love is an installment from the popular series of Chinese puzzle games known as Paper Bride and is inspired by numerous myths and urban legends. Like its predecessors, its events take place in Zangling where our protagonist goes in order to marry one of its young ladies; upon his arrival he finds himself facing strange and frightening events; eventually discovering that Zangling itself has turned out to be haunted while its inhabitants long have died out!

Paper Bride 3 requires players to solve numerous puzzles of increasing complexity as the storyline progresses and unfolds, from collecting key items, interacting with mechanisms and studying evidence - although solving puzzles in previous parts would take novice players quite some time; in contrast, now everything should be easier for even newcomers.

Descriptions of evidence have become far more plentiful; and the game provides ample sources of useful data which could eventually lead to solutions. While puzzles remain important, primary focus has shifted toward story telling with detailed dialogues, dark environments and topics including ghost settlements, violent deaths and supernatural phenomenon woven seamlessly throughout it all.
