Receiver

Receiver is a single-player action shooter with a first-person view that uses advanced mechanics to simulate the handling of Glock-17 pistols, Colt 1911 pistols and the S&W Model 10 "Victory" revolver in detail. Also, these three weapons received real ballistics, and the ability to ricochet off metal structures. Reloading occurs in a step-by-step mode; several steps must be completed before continuing shooting. The project is aimed at simulating all kinds of situations in a wide variety of locations, be it the roof of a skyscraper, a hangar, a factory, a science kit, alleys and much more. In addition to weapons, the main character will have a flashlight in his hands, which will help him see important details in dimly lit corners of the maps.

Each available level of the story campaign represents the clearing of a certain territory. The gameplay consists of destroying turrets that are located in the most unexpected places and flying drones. During the entire playthrough, the gamer will not encounter a single enemy that will be human. The story is told in a disorganized style, as the plot is presented through audio recordings that the virtual protégé can play on his tape recorder. By collecting information bit by bit from sound diaries, the gamer gets a complete picture of what is happening in a fictional world invented by a small company of indie developers.
