UNDETECTED takes place in 2063 Mexico. At that time, its government was under dictatorship; revolutionaries had formed Los Deplazados resistance cell led by Gloria. At some point though, contact between Gloria and her allies is lost as her allies believe she and part of her entourage have been captured. At that point comes Kaan, an experienced agent charged with infiltrating enemy complexes to free any prisoners that they might contain.

As part of UNDETECTED, users cannot employ lethal weapons; there's an impressive arsenal of gadgets which allow the main character to temporarily sideline enemies from battle - rubber bullets and electric shocks being just some examples; they might help during covert passage but would quickly lead to mission failure if discovered and raised alarm.

Gamers must learn to utilize both environment and light effectively in order to succeed at virtual reality gaming. Because passing under an intense flashlight unnoticed is impossible, using rubber bullets to turn off the lamp and create darkness is necessary in order to throw safely.
