The Bad Son

The Bad Son is an independent horror film made using RPG Maker engine with two-dimensional pixel graphics and top camera positioning; visually this game has 16-bit style visuals to set an appropriate atmosphere. Gameplay in This is The Lost City involves exploring locations, speaking with NPCs that you meet along the way and completing main and side quests. There is also an element of stealth here since our protagonist can only protect themselves so much; therefore he must avoid encounters with his opponents by any means necessary. If his enemies recognize him, they will begin pursuing him and hunting down any hiding spots for adversaries he finds; closets might work. At any moment enemies could appear from nowhere so you must navigate this terrain by memory alone as there will not be a mini map available.

Bad Son takes place in 1979 and begins with an exciting horror scenario: Tom was driving around his business when his car unexpectedly ran out of gas, forcing him into a forest where corn fields appeared like moonscapes; eventually finding Derrigtown town and meeting Malachai who collects rejected admirers, though local residents suggest otherwise and claim Malachai may actually be Satan in disguise; unfortunately though, Tom does not yet know which factions represent good or evil but simply needs an escape route out.
