Covid Carl

Covid Carl is a Run 'n' Gun game with Metroidvania elements that takes place in an alternate reality similar to our own world, where scriptwriters criticized local government while lampooning certain phenomena associated with coronavirus pandemic. According to the plot of this film, certain authorities of an unspecified country attempted to forcibly vaccinate its population; however, their project ended in disaster as they discovered that vaccination transformed people into monsters leading to chaos across society. Soon after these events transpired, a soldier appeared and began exterminating mutants. Soon thereafter they offered him to play for them; their primary weapon can be exchanged for other guns while his secondary is limited fuel flamethrower; additionally there are various machine guns, assault rifles with different projectiles available as secondary options.

Covid Karl is an indie game inspired by early Contra chapters. Here, the protagonist behaves almost exactly like its heroes on 8-bit and 16-bit consoles: running quickly left to right, lying instantly to the ground when necessary, jumping, somersaulting in mid air, shooting from 8 directions using keyboard or gamepad controls; this project only supports single playthrough; its 10 levels offer ample challenge while bosses need to be defeated after each stage has completed playthrough - not only do these locations vary in terms of scenery but weather or conditions or laboratories too!
