Hellsplit: Arena

Hellsplit: Arena is a dark and incredibly atmospheric horror role-playing adventure game that uses slasher mechanics. Created by a small development studio for modern technology - virtual reality. Control is only available using a VR helmet. For maximum ease of use, the gamer should have a free area of ​​1.5 square meters for his own movement around it so that the avatar inside the game follows the player.

The setting for this project is a medieval castle with a huge area around it to explore. It contains not only all kinds of paintings and monuments, but also something mystical that makes dead bodies that have long been in the ground, as well as skeletons, come to life. They are filled with fire after their miraculous resurrection many centuries after death. These will be the enemies encountered throughout the game.

The main feature of the project will be the use of realistic body physics, believable battles, where it is important to properly handle swords, axes and other available murder weapons. Opponents will react when a sharp blade hits their arms, legs or torso, which can be deprived of all limbs with whipping blows and pierce an already prone body for finishing. Each skirmish is accompanied by a huge amount of blood around. Thanks to the protagonist's control of his own movements, the gamer gets a new gaming experience that is not similar to what can be obtained when using a keyboard and mouse or a gamepad.
