AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - NirvanA Initiative is an exciting detective story in which players must use sophisticated technology to conduct an investigation of murder or theft. No longer must investigators reconstruct scenes in their head before recreating them with new techniques of crime-fighting in mind; now there is a unique system of full immersion where investigators can create plausible events to better comprehend who their killer may be; only then should fiction and reality mix!

Six years ago, under mysterious circumstances, police discovered the right half of a victim. Unfortunately, their search failed and there was no trace of evidence either; most likely their body had been transported and cut up elsewhere before returning here for slaughtering and butchery; it would likely require multiple tools just to create such an intricate cut! Recently however, duty department received another call about fresh left side found; no signs of decay or old age had formed and seemed like she'd just been cut off! Since it had no connection with twin victims it was investigated by agent Mizuki alongside Aiba (an artificial intelligence).

AI: The Somnium Files - Nirvana Initiative requires careful examination and investigation in order to unravel its perplexing events, prompting players to carefully examine crime scenes and question suspects. How did criminal manage to keep half his body preserved so perfectly, was it real or just very high-grade counterfeit? There will likely be plenty of questions raised but only protagonist can provide answers at the end.
