Hellboy Web of Wyrd , a roguelike action brawler, takes us on an action-packed adventure created in collaboration with Dark Horse Comics and legendary Hellboy creator Mike Mignola. The story begins with the mysterious disappearance of a BPRD agent, forcing Hellboy to become involved in the investigation and plunging him into the mysterious depths of the Wyrd.

The creative minds at Upstream Arcade have faithfully adapted Mike Mignola's iconic art style to ensure the game captures the essence of his original masterpieces. In a style reminiscent of the comics, Hellboy embarks on a series of varied and uniquely entertaining adventures. Although each story is independent, they are all connected to the mysterious legacy of the Butterfly House. Built in 1962 by occultist Pascual Denevo, the Butterfly House goes beyond ordinary housing and serves as a portal. Infused with occult ley energies, its unusual architecture and non-Euclidean geometric forms were carefully designed with the sinister purpose of serving as a gateway to the eerie and captivating dimension known as the Wyrd. As gamers move deeper into the Wyrd, they encounter a nightmarish menagerie of creatures and homunculi. Combat is meticulously designed and forces players to study enemy patterns, use evasive maneuvers, parry blows, and, of course, deliver devastating blows to send the enemy into oblivion.
