Cultivation Story: Reincarnation is an atmospheric top-down action game with RPG and roguelike elements inspired by Chinese myths and legends, featuring stylish pixel art featuring oriental aesthetic elements. As part of an adventure hero you must fight an array of monsters and bosses while progressing through many unique levels to help defeat an oppressive evil that threatens his country; his arsenal includes melee weapons which allow him to confront entire armies of opponents along the way.

Cultivation Story: Reincarnation features an innovative procedurally generated world, wherein every aspect of gameplay (locations, enemies and dropped items) can be randomly generated to add more replay value and increase replayability. Arenas with bosses may also be generated. As rewards for killing leader characters, the player is awarded various benefits that are randomly generated: there are chests scattered around the world which contain loot and bonuses; moral choices determine forks. You will encounter various characters which offer quests or exchange items in certain locations; all this makes gameplay increasingly intense as players must rapidly respond to enemy attacks quickly enough in order to remain at an advantage in combating your foes.
