Survisland

Survisland is an open-world survival game characterized by realistic gameplay. The island territory is procedurally generated, providing three biomes - The Shallows, Mangrove Forest and Swamp. Each biome has its own distinct landscape, flora, fauna and resources which require different strategies in order to survive. Adapt to each biome's conditions in order to change survival tactics accordingly and adapt.

Survisland's most treacherous opponent is weather conditions. Day and weather changes vary dynamically and gameplay heavily relies on precipitation. Day and night bring different environmental behaviors; daytime can promote different environmental behaviors than nights; therefore, spending your nights at your base building a small shelter or warming yourself by the fire is best practice; vegetation allows you to collect resources depending on time of year; cutting down trees may allow reforestation of large shelters but at the cost of food sources and resources collected over time.

One of the features of the game is its metabolism system. Developers have recreated an accurate simulation of muscles, fat, bones, blood and water within human bodies; as you move and consume food and increase intensity in both areas your protagonist's body changes accordingly; physical parameters or diseases could have an impactful impact on his or her effectiveness; clothing also has unique qualities which may either add armor points or reduce speed depending on its characteristics.

All items have parameters such as size, weight, type, hardness, strength, quality and portability that must be taken into consideration in crafting systems. In this regard, a crafting system based on surrounding objects is offered; creating either a delicate bungalow or massive stone fortress with three reference points: foundation, support and surface to start construction.
