Bad Kids is an adaptation of the Chinese drama of the same name. The TV show itself is based on a novel by writer Zi Jin Chen with the exact same name. The series is also known under the alternative name The Bad Kids in China and abroad. The narrative in the video game adaptation differs from the original in an extended story. The developers came up with new storylines. They divided everything into 5 chapters. At the same time, the creators retained the original setting. In the original script, three high school students witnessed a murder and recorded the crime on camera, which ultimately brought them a lot of trouble. In the video game, a character named Zhu Chaoyang also happened upon a terrible incident and then turned into one of the suspects.
