God of War: Ragnarok

God of War: Ragnarok is a continuation of the story of Kratos and Atreus, who explore a world inspired by Scandinavian mythology. The events unfold in ancient Norway. The events are dedicated to the beginning of Ragnarok. According to legend, it should lead to the death of all the Scandinavian gods, thereby marking the end of the world. Gameplay God of War: Ragnarok remained faithful to the original, but many new mechanics, enemies, abilities and locations were introduced.

The main emphasis is on the interaction between the main characters. The player controls Kratos and can give commands to his son to carry out powerful paired attacks. The main character of God of War: Ragnarok still uses the magic ax Leviathan as his main weapon. The ax has boomerang properties, so it can be thrown at the enemy. The protagonist has several types of blows. Combining them, the hero carries out various powerful or special attacks. You need to find your own individual approach to each enemy. There are bosses in the form of huge colossi.

The heroes must overcome the harsh three-year winter, called Fimbulwinter. During the adventures, the protagonists will meet the Jotun Angrboda and many other mythical gods. Defeating enemies, Kratos becomes stronger. You need to buy upgrades for the experience you collect. The level increases due to armor and equipment. You also need to buy abilities and blows that allow you to carry out devastating combos. Kratos can block, roll, grab the enemy and go into a rage. The levels are represented by elements of metroidvania and verticality. There are elements of parkour.
