Project Downfall

Project Downfall is a hurricane shooter in a cyberpunk setting. Tired of observing a dystopian reality, the main character takes the path of justice, where he will have to fight a huge number of enemies. The enemy sprites are two-dimensional. The gameplay of Project Downfall is a variation of the original Doom in a retrowave style. However, the main difference between the gameplay is that here every bullet counts and it can really be fatal both for the protagonist and for any ordinary adversary.

The plot takes us to the distant future. The world we know has long ago changed. At the center of the story is the European Union, which must now reckon with a new superpower called the Novorossiysk Federation. It includes states such as Lithuania, Ukraine and Poland. The first level starts from the European metropolis Crimson Tide. The Free City of the Crimson Tide is the center of human development. It is located on the border between Poland and Germany. Almost all ruling parties no longer represent the political sphere, but the economic one. The power of the future has changed and mega-corporations are at the head of everything. You play as an ordinary middle class guy. During the day he works for the benefit of his company, and in the evening he relaxes with his beloved girl Olga. However, he is tired of modern reality and the fact that every aspect of life is controlled by corporations and, in fact, society is held hostage by moneybags.
