Sons of Valhalla

Sons of Valhalla is an interactive side-scrolling adventure game with strategy elements. As Thorald Olavson - son of an influential Viking Jarl and powerful warrior himself - you take control as his son Thorald Olavson who must conquer England while at the same time saving his beloved love interest, both objectives being pursued simultaneously in parallel by historical Viking raiders who raided Christian England, plundering temples and killing people along their route. The gameplay draws heavily upon historical events.

Olavson suspects something amiss as soon as his English hosts offer them fertile land in exchange for paying tribute, yet is offered less by way of reciprocal compensations from Olavson himself and begins an expedition against traitorous British. Control your hero while collecting warriors into an army to combat those trying to unsettle you while opposing an unscrupulous British scheme designed to ruin his plans of freedom - Sons of Valhalla offers both beautiful and brutal gameplay; killing enemies upgrades your own skills as well as that of warriors on both sides - making each encounter rewarding!

Leveling takes place between battles. Here you can prepare your warriors for battle by building villages, collecting resources, training warriors and expanding lands. Being a barbarian requires raiding cities for plunder. Sons of Valhalla may break into castles and temples while oldromaniacs pose an additional danger that requires extra care when defeating.
