Lord of Rigel

Lord of Rigel sees the Cold War engulf the Galaxy as players choose one race among many to join it in seeking resolution - by either conquering all states or forging peaceful alliances - of conflict resolution; methods include capture all states or creating peaceful ones as well as using methods of espionage and research in reaching their objectives.

Turn-based space strategy challenges players to compete against representatives of other nations while protecting against threats to victory with various tools available - espionage, diplomacy, exploration and real-time spaceship battles among them - using various types of weapons available within this game. Superior races vie for supremacy within this universe with individual leaders possessing specific traits or styles of play among dozens of separate races present within it all vying for supremacy - with special characteristics unique to their play style!

Game players have control of small nations by employing various resources and technologies to defend or attack, for instance creating Dyson spheres or doomsday weapons and unveiling evolutionary secrets. You may choose peaceful means such as concluding trade agreements and various alliances; alternatively they could pursue covert means like engaging in espionage activities that utilize data received, exploit troops through sabotage techniques or steal technology to instigate murder of leaders while conducting propaganda efforts against rival nations.

Real-time battles require careful strategy. For example, to maximize an attack strategy against an adversary it may be wiser to launch smaller starships at their flank and use spaceships with weak armor as hunting spaceships to target or search targets more precisely. On these spaceships the user controls weapons, shields, on-board computers and engines as needed.
