Outward

Outward is a third-person RPG featuring challenging survival elements. When venturing out into the open world, your traveler must constantly monitor his temperature, water availability, food intake and energy supplies in order to prevent imminent death from deprivation of these basic needs. Without optimal levels for these factors, their character could quickly succumb; lack of sleep could result in illness such as colds or stomach upset; take caution in what foods to consume!

Once on any city territory, your environment may attempt to capture you and put behind bars; without enough strength to resist or escape capture, characters in Outward may simply succumb. Outward has an exceptionally difficult spell system designed specifically to capture characters attempting to use magic against their will. They can be purchased in-game through either the store or after leveling up and completing quests for various NPCs, with each quest progressing the plot forward by assigning debt repayment as one of his main tasks for his family. If he does not act quickly to secure their family's future savings will be depleted to pay this debt. He ventures forth into the world in hopes that by earning enough money he will return and provide for them once more; yet this trip proves itself both fascinating and difficult at the same time.

Quests are intended to take place over an extended period of time; from 5 minutes (to find answers to a specific query), to months-long expeditions of finding an object from its lair of some creature or another. As part of your quest you'll encounter deserters, rebels, armies of various factions, kill animals for meat and water supplies as well as medication; you must constantly search for shelter. Against all odds the wild nature around you guarantees epic battles as well as challenging spell mining challenges with split screen multiplayer mode as part of an exciting and engaging story told completely by you alone!
