Haven: Secret of Caledria

Haven: Secret of Caledria draws heavily upon classic JRPGs from the 90s for its gameplay inspiration, offering all key JRPG features such as traversing an expansive open world together, completing quests, exploring dungeons, and turning-based battles in turn-based battles - and taking approximately 20 hours real time to finish its main narrative line.

Haven: Secret of Caledria draws its gameplay inspiration from such iconic titles as Lufia, Breath of Fire, Suikoden and Chrono Trigger. Set in Olund in Caledria kingdom, player Zidrik initiates a coup against Emperor Rofel when he learns that they had betrayed him before tragically passing away and leaving Oswind to navigate political intrigues on his own journey and discover who they truly are as an individual.

While traversing a vast map, the protagonist encounters various characters who might either join him, give out quests or provide bonuses and experience points upon successful completion. Completing their instructions unlocks bonuses and experience points which can then be spent levelling up or spending them to purchase additional moves for special attacks against enemies on special fields; battles between allies take place on another field with separate moves made by each partner taking turns making moves against each enemy; by defeating enemies your special attacks improve, and by intercepting monster skills it allows unique battle tactics allowing unique battle tactics tactics from each partner which then allows unique battle tactics against different monsters - with useful items collected across locations the hero can expand upon his base; unlocking the world contains many hidden areas, objects characters etc allowing him to increase his power even further!
