The Red Solstice 2: Survivors is a role-playing top-down shooter with an emphasis on tactics and interaction between squad members, which is achieved through a cooperative mode using an Internet connection. Up to 8 people can be in one gaming session at the same time. When completing the proposed activities offline in a long campaign, partners in the special squad are controlled by artificial intelligence. The collection of statistical data has been implemented, which can be systematized, compared with other gamers and published on a special honor board for the best users from around the globe.

The plot of the game starts in 117 from the fall of the Earth under the yoke of invaders. The scene of action is Mars, where all the missions developed by the programmers from Ironward will take place. The story told to users is dedicated to the battles between huge corporations fighting for the right to dispose of the remaining colonies and resources that are becoming scarce. Also, the unknown STROL virus, called the doomsday virus for the entire human race, leaves its imprint.

The campaign of the game "Red Solstice 2: Survivors", divided into separate stages, will occupy the player for more than one evening due to the gigantic number of tasks assigned to the user. After finishing the storyline, you can spend time in single missions, which are also available for cooperative study. There are 8 classes to choose from for your virtual protégé, which makes it mandatory to combine all sorts of skills from different characters to more effectively destroy aggressive enemy units.
