Yomawari: Lost in the Dark

Yomawari: Lost in the Dark is an atmospheric horror game with complex puzzles that takes place in a familiar yet terrifyingly different world, shrouded in darkness. The plot follows an innocent little girl, who wakes up suddenly one night to find that instead of sleeping peacefully she finds herself trapped within an ominous forest, meeting an unexpected stranger who tells her they can leave this place as soon as she removes their curse - it turns out someone cursed the protagonist to live here all along!

Yomawari: Lost in the Dark's main character must explore an online virtual town that never sleeps, where only ghosts and souls of dead come out at nighttime - these beings pose great risk, so should not be approached directly.

As she can only engage them passively in battles, it would be prudent not to meet up again. Because their gaze can be murderous and therefore prevent immediate attacks by enemies, young adventurers should close their eyes as soon as they hear someone approaching; for illumination in impenetrable darkness she can use flashlight. To heighten tension she uses an escalating soundtrack; thus creating the horrifying atmosphere. While progressing with her story she also can customize their baby's appearance accordingly.
