Charon's Staircase

Charon's Staircase follows Desmond, an agent working for the government of a country recently under totalitarian rule that is now trying to join the European Union. Desmond was instructed by his new authorities to conceal information regarding activities performed by previous inhuman authorities such as Oak Grove Estate where evil experiments conducted during 1970 by Project Alpha conducted on its grounds by their oppressive Ministry caused widespread horrors that are only now becoming known and require him to face consequences of past horrors that happened there.

Charon's Ladder is an adventure game featuring first-person perspective gameplay with both supernatural and horror elements, inspired by Central Europe in the 1970s. Players need to explore a mysterious country estate located nearby and its surroundings where devilish activity appears almost immediately - this video game requires exploring various parts of an estate while solving various puzzles of various difficulties based around exploring locations as well interacting with interactive elements within it.
