Monkey Barrels

Monkey Barrels is an immersive top-down shooter that will transport you into an alternative future where monkeys battle machines over 22 thrilling missions. As part of these challenges, futuristic weapons must be employed against soulless robots while using various futuristic weapon systems for self-defence against them. Additionally, there's also an online competitive mode which lets players from across the world compete head to head against one another!

Visually, this project employs retro pixel art for maximum immersiveness in its destruction of future metropolises. Explore slums, visit landmarks and battle against skyscrapers as enemies drop helpful resources and loot in kill zones; collect this loot, level up and upgrade skills - collecting it will lead to even more resources, upgrading skills further down the line as enemies die for you and dropping more resources than you had originally possessed! Added modern elements provide even greater excitement than previous-school mechanics could.

Monkey Barrels stands out with its dynamic gameplay and variety, featuring numerous guns and equipment available for use. Furthermore, its plot and setting provide for an upbeat environment; yet difficult stages present themselves at times as challenges to face head on.
