OPEN DOOR

OPEN DOOR is an indie horror game with walking simulator elements created entirely by one individual. As is usual for its genre, OPEN DOOR features a minimalistic interface (only its crosshair can be seen) and first-person view, set within an enormous complex belonging to BLACKDOOR Corporation engaged in biotechnological development. Gameplay involves exploring levels with flashlight in hand while running away from monsters while overriding obstacles and solving puzzles (there is even an emphasis on puzzle solving in OPEN DOOR); running from monsters over hurdles while solving puzzles (sometimes similar to room escape games); moving through levels using flashlight while running from monsters; running away from monsters as you overcome obstacles or solve puzzles- all this and much more await you within this indie title than traditional titles due to strong emphasis placed on solving puzzles within this indie title that emulates room escape titles - except that protagonist can walk, run squat climb into narrow openings to interact with environment as you play through many stages with wide open and narrow openings where characters interacts can run into narrow openings to interact with environment as you'll interacts so much more like room escape games!

Open Door, as its title translates, tells of the aftermath of an unsuccessful scientific experiment where no one survived. Players take on the role of random individuals attempting to survive and figure out why people started entering and paranormal phenomena were appearing within company buildings where people started entering after paranormal phenomena had first started appearing; gameplay features oppressive sounds and dark music while jump scares are peppered throughout with notes found periodically throughout this title that don't contain lore but provide clues towards puzzle solving instead.
