Airoheart

Airoheart is a role-playing game featuring 2D pixel graphics and top-down camera perspective. Combat between characters takes place real time within an open world environment manually created. Airoheart was made by indie developers in imitation of sixteen-bit console hits from the 1990s console market. Gameplay for The Legend of Zelda series fans may recognize similarities with this title; players can walk in various directions while swinging a sword, shooting crossbow shots at enemy projectiles using shield blockage or rolling. There are Metroidvania elements present: to access certain areas on the map the player needs special equipment or artifacts which provide new abilities; these require exploring dungeons, solving puzzles within them, combatting bosses or studying contents of chests before reaching that area of the map.

Airheart is both the name of a game and protagonist's main character in it, depicting tales of brotherly rivalry and fateful events; themes including suffering, betrayal, redemption and friendship will emerge through gameplay. Airheart follows two parallel story arcs: 1) Her brother wants to get hold of Druidite stone to gain possession, while her protagonist wants to stop this action so as to save Engarde city from destruction); and 2) If an antagonist achieves their plan and obtains this artifact it would unleash ancient evil... So hero embarks upon an epic quest that saves humanity from destruction!
