Remoteness

Remoteness is a sci-fi first-person shooter set in an alternate future of 2034. New York and other major cities on earth were hit by an unexplainable electrical meteor shower which led to widespread chaos; an eventful fall caused celestial bodies to descend to earth where horrific creatures began hunting people; as an experienced warrior-hunter equipped with crossbow, our protagonist enters battle against these enemies on his quest for victory in life's battlefields.

Remoteness' virtual world includes Chinatown and Central City areas which are entirely open for exploration, as well as an arsenal of modern firearms ranging from sniper rifles, machine guns and pistols - for action movie-inspired firearms to be utilized. Furthermore, its dynamic system changes weather conditions and time of day which has an enormous effect on gameplay; daytime monsters may pose no threats while soldiers see better in bright sunlight conditions.

At night, it is wise to avoid dark places where nightmares might await their victims. Weather will aid your killing even more effectively - particularly rain. By charging his crossbow and bolts with electricity during rainstorms, his opponent is more easily struck down with deadly accuracy than otherwise. Additionally, this energy serves as currency within an underground subway network where thousands are hiding.
