Twilight Of The Gods is a third-person action RPG created on Unreal Engine. Before beginning your adventure you have three difficulty options to select: easy, normal or hard. In this partially open world game a system of tasks and markers helps avoid becoming disoriented on such an expansive map; main and side quests have percentage completion scales on their screens while your hero also features an inventory with several slots for using active items; chat with NPCs through dialogue boxes or choose dialogue lines, collect herbs for hunting wild animals as well as ride mounts on mounts.

Twilight of the Gods is an independent project set in an alternative eighth-century setting, depicted through medieval fantasy realm. One day in that dimension there was an enormous explosion which caused landmasses to be overrun with various monsters; humanity then faced an existential struggle as its survival became at stake. August is the main character. At five, he became orphaned and spent his early life living with foster families in a village environment. However, one day after learning of his father's passing away a young man notices an opportunity and decides to become a warrior himself. He trains hard in order to have enough strength to defend his hometown and beloved places from various creatures that threaten it, before setting out on an epic quest in search of everyone he cares for. This story unfolds via dialogue without scripts, static pictures screensavers with text descriptions, as well as amateur voiceover.
