ANONYMOUS;CODE , the brainchild of STEINS;GATE creator Chiyomaru Shikura and the talented team behind the Science Adventure series, immerses players in a cyberpunk world set in 2037 in the bustling metropolis of Nakano, Tokyo. The story centers on Pollon Takaoka and his close comrade Cross Yumikawa, who make their living as professional hackers after the devastating Sad Morning disaster that occurred on February 6, 2036.

The intrigue unfolds when Pollon, seemingly alone, declares his intention to “escape” and stumbles upon a mysterious girl named Momo in a forbidden place. Their meeting takes an unexpected turn when mysterious criminals appear on Momo's heels. It is during this chase that Pollon acquires the "Save & Load" application, a gaming tool that allows him to manipulate time and results.

The plot thickens with the appearance of a brilliant hacker nicknamed “Cicada 3301”, who organizes complex “quests”. Meanwhile, the Gaia Institute reopens a frozen simulation of Earth, and the secret activities of the Vatican's "Holy Office 513" cast a shadow over the unfolding events. Pollon finds himself embroiled in a series of intricate intrigues, and his actions have the potential to change the world. It's up to you, the players, to tell Pollon when to save and load, influencing the direction of the story. Hacking Trigger, an interactive branching system, replaces the traditional approach to storytelling, giving players control over Pollon's decisions and the future that unfolds.
