Niffelheim

Niffelheim is a survival role-playing game set in Norse mythology about an unwilling warrior whose soul, instead of ascending to Asgard, fell instead into Niflheim - instead, their task is simple - just survive this fallen kingdom by building fortresses, attacking your neighbors or entering its depths, doing everything to get out and on to Valhalla as soon as possible!

As first steps toward building your fortress, the initial task will be constructing your defensive lair. Building options may include forge, sawmill, kitchen, alchemy laboratory greenhouse sheepfold chicken coop. All structures need to be upgraded regularly as nightfall approaches as enemies become increasingly hostile toward your fort and attempt to gain entry.

On their journey, brave warriors must overcome skeletons, zombie wolves, trolls, spiders and Priests of Death bosses - including temple city where you can purchase or upgrade items and weapons as well as summon your companion a dragon! There is one important difference from most games; four heroes share an attribute in common; they always hunger! By killing multiple enemies with various products then mixing together their remains into potions that give energy and strength tinctures brewed by you can give a significant advantage when in battle.

Niflheim provides automatic leveling. By consistently operating a pickaxe or engaging in battle, mining levels will increase; participating regularly strengthens heroes as warriors; network mode allows four Vikings to play simultaneously for co-op enjoyment - getting keys for Asgard is much more enjoyable when shared!
