update details
Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! is an engaging simulation of being the proprietor of a gun store, set against an idyllic fantasy setting populated with potato men. There's an elaborate plot in play here with choices between action or line presented during certain scenes; and its story begins with Batata passing his business to his grandson before dying - who manages to pass it along before succumbing himself, leaving behind something very basic but simple-minded yet trying not to disgrace its legacy before receiving advice from Agent 46 (an agent that means something bad!).
Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! isn't solely about selling weapons; goods must also be forgeed from scratch. In order to do this, blacksmiths need to be hired and placed correctly within your workshop - there are over 30 candidates you can select from that have their own appearance, name and individual traits as well as specialization: one worker may add dexterity while crafting while the second adds strength; when designing items this should be taken into consideration when crafting items like daggers and bows that require agility while larger items like an axe and sword would require strength upgrades rather than agility increases when creating them from scratch.
Forging blades requires resources. Employees should be sent out to mine them, with mining workers receiving additional training specialization. As you move through this game you need to "place" all your blacksmiths somewhere: search for ore, create new recipes for crafting items, sell products and more! Once the weapon is complete, one of your staff should assume the role of merchant. They'll go around selling goods to local adventurers; each warrior may require specific goods. Inevitably heroes from videogames may occasionally visit for goods. Example: Cloud from Final Fantasy 7 will ask you to help him forge his iconic buster sword, upgrading both blacksmiths and characters who purchase weapons as they go along. Furthermore, the room in which this process occurs can also be improved or decorated further; eventually new zones and opportunities open up, as the project features different seasons with their associated weather changes as well as random events occurring at random times throughout each year.
