Windmills

Windmills is a metroidvania with retro-styled 2D pixel art that uses traditional side viewing for action/platformer hybrid gameplay. The primary emphasis in gameplay lies with dynamic battles against enemies while exploration of locations also takes place; NPC interactions and quest chains may also occur. Timing plays an integral part in combat system as correct responses may unlock temporary special abilities - for instance if one successfully deflects an electric attack from an adversary they will gain electrical damage during subsequent attacks for some time; furthermore as your journey unfolds so will your fighter's motion set expands as they progress further into the game!

Windmills is set in a dark fantasy world. The game offers non-standard plot presentation: its story is told from the point-of-view of its protagonist who recalls old days recollected from memory loss; depending on player actions, his memories could change; some events might appear differently while others entirely vanish from his mind; this gives rise to replayability as you control an indie witch hunter (the last Crimson Cloak), traveling across a magical kingdom riddled with monsters to restore portals while destroy them - creating replayability!
