Trek to Yomi

Trek to Yomi is an incredibly cinematic game that tells the story of a samurai during feudal Japan. All events take place in black and white with frequent changes in camera position during cut scenes, as well as transitions in a passionate battle, as if the hero himself is fighting, and the user can only watch what is happening. To defeat any boss, it will not be enough to simply press keys and do combos; you will have to show cunning, dexterity and develop tactics.

The main character is Hiroki, a young swordsman who has already managed to demonstrate a high level of skill in wielding a katana. During an attack on the village, his teacher was mortally wounded while trying to protect his family. Before his death, he took an oath from the young man that he would use his weapons exclusively to protect their city, and would do so throughout his life. In gratitude to the one who actually replaced his parents, the guy agrees and vows to fulfill this request until the end of his days. And the blade did not have to wait long for its time.

The combat system of Trek tu Yomi is completely tied to the traditional use of the katana and samurai techniques. The developers spent a lot of time to convey the realistic movements in the character. The hero will have to face not only other warriors, but also evil creatures, demons and dark forces, which can only be defeated with pure intentions and sufficient composure not to flinch.
