Gunlocked is a vertical scrolling shooter with roguelike elements. The indie project uses a sci-fi setting. Its graphics and music are stylized in retro style. In the game you need to improve the starship, dodge obstacles, destroy enemies and obstacles in space, and fight bosses. The leaders here know how to evolve. Some trunks
too. The player watches what is happening from above. The gamer is given 3 pilots to choose from. In this video game there are 5 types of bonuses, 10 achievements, 11 types of adversaries (they have different variations) and 21 types of weapons. Thanks to the influence of randomness, each next run is different from the previous one. To successfully complete this indie game, you need to achieve three victories over bosses. As you progress, new content opens up.

The gameplay in Gunlocked is somewhat reminiscent of Vampire Survivors. Here, too, the player cannot manually aim the weapon at opponents and attack. The ship automatically shoots at enemies and finds targets for itself. The speed of attacks and the radius of destruction depend on the weapons installed on the transport. Also, the starship itself moves forward. The user is allowed to move it in different directions within the screen to dodge enemy bullets. You can also control movement with a gamepad. The user is also allowed to choose which upgrades to put on the aircraft. Guns and upgrades can form synergies, allowing you to create different builds.
