update details
Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition is a remaster of Ridley Scott's 1997 hit adventure film of the same name "Blade Runner", using reverse engineering technology as a workaround since their source code had been lost. Ray McCoy plays the hero who investigates maddened replicants while ultimately discovering whether or not he himself is human.
Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition's narrative can be broken into five acts, using a branching dialogue system which suggests making decisions with long-term implications. There's even the choice to become either good or bad cop, leading to 16 possible endings depending on clues found along with using Voight-Kampff devices for interrogating any suspect replicants that come up for interrogation.
The protagonist poses three questions of increasingly challenging difficulty to elicit emotions from Ray the android, much as in many quests. However, unlike most quests, here, Ray may die; action sections have the possibility of injury where multiple attacks might miss and/or hit will lead to his demise; to restore your health buy food or alcohol products from local retailers or use healthcare.
To discover clues, it's essential to carefully explore locations. Your protagonist examines active objects by drawing them closer to the screen - if there are interesting details present, the game provides the option for closer examination by moving closer still; any section with particularly intriguing features can then be examined further; quest objects can even be rotated three-dimensionally! Information gained during your investigation is then uploaded directly into criminal databases for use later.
