update details
Radioactive Dwarfs: Evil From The Sewers is a 2D pixel shooter featuring top and side camera angles; graphically and gameplay-wise it evokes eight-bit gaming; plus its soundtrack is inspired by vintage console videogame music from late 80s/early 90s consoles. Chiptune tracks were composed for this story about awakened underground dwarves who took control of sewers. After her brother has disappeared, her heroine decides to travel deep underground for revenge against these mysterious figures who attacked people during the night and kidnapped them. After becoming angry enough at what has transpired she heads down into drains hoping for revenge against these unsavory beings. She must search and rescue a relative she never knew about before; her story unfolds through in-engine cut scenes with comedic dialogue reminiscent of category B films, making this product suitable for single playthrough only; featuring an achievement system and partial support for gamepads.
Retro shooter Radioactive Dwarves: Evil from the Sewers features 20 levels, as well as two bonus levels - one dangerous and one safe - plus various elements which add variety to gameplay at different stages. An agile woman can move left and right across an empty landscape while using different weapons to throw grenades, shoot guns, explode barrels, break boxes, pick up coins and upgrade her weapons and abilities as she advances through her journey. On each map there are helpful items (which replenish health, increase damage dealt, provide temporary protection or other forms of aid), traps, teleports and enemies who move in various ways; there's even an unpredictable final boss! By successfully completing each location the player gains points and can save; scoring depends on a combination of gold collected as a percentage and number of enemies destroyed and mini games scattered around. The gameplay also periodically digresses into mini-games to spice things up further!
