Exoplanet: First Contact

Exoplanet: First Contact is an open world RPG. Events take place on the planet K'Tharsis, where mercenaries of the Terraform corporation and colonists are fighting for the extraction of antigravium. It is used instead of currency. The game allows you to join any of the two warring parties.

Exoplanet: First Contact is made in the surroundings of space westerns. Here, wide-brimmed hats coexist with futuristic gadgets. The user is given control of Jack Sharp. He accidentally ended up in this wild place because of his clients who set him up. The hero comes to his senses in a landfill and finds himself practically naked.

The protagonist can walk, run, jump, interact with objects, use weapons and objects. 10 cells are allocated for using things. Jack kept the scanner on his arm. This gadget helps in finding loot and identifying enemies. Sharpe needs to drink and eat constantly. Savings occur while resting. You can catch your breath by the fire or go to bed on the bed. Upon waking up, the hero will be hungry. There is a change in time of day.

The game imitates the "Gothic" series. The protagonist moves, fights in close combat and bends for loot in a similar way. Monsters here also warn of dangerous approach with a roar and pursue only up to a certain distance. Skills are taught and improved by teachers. Even communication with the local population resembles a cult creation of the Germans.

In addition to hand-to-hand combat, there are shootouts. Sharp handles pistols, shotguns, rifles and other weapons well. There is also crafting. For example: you can build a fire from branches and fry meat on it. And from a stick and poisonous plants you will get a club that poisons opponents on impact. You can't just kill peaceful NPCs. The NPC must itself aggro against the protagonist. You can provoke them into hostility by stealing other people's things right in front of your eyes.
