Angel's Gear

Angel's Gear is a small metroidvania with horror elements and a side view. The indie project has two-dimensional and pixel graphics, stylized in retro style. The character here is controlled using the keyboard and mouse. He can run left and right, jump, dodge, shoot, fight in close combat, use a shield, and make tackles. The protagonist is also able to switch between angel and demon modes. Fights here are accompanied by splashes of blood and pieces of meat flying in different directions. There are boss battles. As you progress, the hero gains new abilities and expands his arsenal. There is a shotgun, a pistol and other weapons. Guns need to be reloaded. The indie game also involves exploring interconnected locations, chatting with strange NPCs, and completing side quests.

The local setting mixes post-apocalypse and science fiction. Events take place in a dark multiverse. The plot begins with the creation of weapons of mass destruction. Brothers Locke and Heathcliff invent a mechanical disease that eats matter. Their actions lead to the emergence of a self-replicating machine, devouring all living and non-living things for fuel and digesting everything within itself. She consumes the entire universe, and then climbs into a parallel dimension to do the same thing there. A Soldier stands in her way, whom they offer to play as. He has to figure out where this threat came from, find a way to defeat it and save his distorted reality. You can reach the end of the story in a couple of hours.
