Going Deep

Going Deep is a third-person survival horror game with action elements. It will be controlled by a special forces soldier, so the hero is not defenseless against monsters. The protagonist is able to stand up for himself. He can swing a knife, throw grenades and use firearms. Also, the main character can recharge guns, turn a flashlight on and off, use objects, interact with the environment (for example: open doors), break wooden boxes. In addition, he can craft and improve equipment. You can create cartridges, first aid kits, long-range and melee weapons, armor, and bags. This video game has an inventory. Its capacity can be increased to 20 cells. It has 6 slots for quick access to the arsenal.

The game is made in the setting of a zombie apocalypse. The events shown in GD take place on the territory of a secluded city. The authorities decided that foreign states were conducting secret chemical experiments in this settlement. So they sent a group of military men there. However, the mission did not go according to plan, and almost the entire team disappeared somewhere. Only one fighter was able to survive. It is he who will have to carry out this task. The backstory, as is traditional for horror films, is revealed in text form through documents, notes and diaries scattered throughout the locations. In an indie project, you can wander through dark streets and enter buildings. The gameplay is reminiscent of some parts of the Resident Evil series.
