DownhillMadness may be of interest to fans of experimental indie projects. It's a mixture of physics simulator, first-person shooter and arcade game. The Unreal Engine 5.1 is responsible for the three-dimensional graphics. The indie project is set in a sci-fi setting. It takes the user into a surreal world. This game has a non-standard settings system. The player immediately finds himself on the map without going to the main menu or viewing the intro. All options are scattered around the starting location. To adjust the sound, the user needs to find the corresponding large wall in the building. In the same way, the visuals, controls, interface are configured here, and progress is also saved.

To select a mode, you need to go to the desired gate. There are 2 of them in total. Adventure Mode offers you to complete tasks and unlock levels sequentially. Arcade Mode opens if the gamer scores 200 points. In it, the player can run through all 32 stages at speed, while setting new records. Each map has an individual soundtrack. According to the developers, their creation of content is approximately 10-30 hours long. In this title you can run, jump, throw off force fields, shoot from a windy cannon, soar like a bird, watch everything from a satellite, leave glowing traces on the ground, and overcome obstacles. The shots here are customizable. Weapons can be loaded with different projectiles. All types of ammunition have their own physics.
