AquaPhobia

AquaPhobia is a multiplayer horror game with RPG elements and asymmetrical multiplayer. You can play it with other users over the Internet or over a local network. The video game is made in a sci-fi setting. The action takes place in the near future, in which humanity has discovered a water planet rich in valuable resources. Colonists and miners were sent to mine them. Events take place on an underwater base. People found themselves locked in a facility surrounded by alien sea monsters. These monsters are trying to get inside. In addition, there was a very dangerous traitor among the staff, pursuing his own goals.

The gameplay in the indie project Aquaphobia is reminiscent of Among Us and other social deduction games. Some users try to do teamwork and complete tasks. For example: drill holes and mine minerals, fight monsters from the depths of the water, and so on. Traitor players, in turn, sabotage their activities, and also try to quietly kill users without exposing themselves. This indie product differs from similar titles by the presence of a role-playing system and permanent death. Each participant in the match creates a character for himself, comes up with a name for him and chooses one of 3 roles. You can be an engineer, a doctor or a security guard. The more often specific abilities are used, the faster they level up. If the hero dies, then his owner will have to create a new protagonist and start all the pumping from the very beginning.
