Castle Of Alchemists

Castle Of Alchemists is an attempt to cross two genres: Top-Down Shooter and Tower Defense. There are also RPG elements. The project is made in a steampunk setting. In it, a fighter runs around the citadel, sets traps that synergize with his abilities, and personally shoots crowds of opponents. Enemies differ in appearance, behavior, weaknesses and resistances. As the warrior progresses, he gains access to new deadly mechanisms, stronger armor and powerful weapons. Loot characteristics are randomly generated. It is possible to craft some items and add additional properties to equipment. For example: poison damage. The hero gradually becomes stronger, increasing his level and mutating.

The Alchemists' Castle is not only the name of the game, but also the name of a special order. Its members have been trying to obtain the Philosopher's Stone for decades. To achieve this goal, the masters became heretics and began to study witchcraft. As a result, they accidentally opened portals to other worlds, from where aggressive creatures began to appear. Due to the triggered protective system, everyone who was in the citadel was locked in it. The player controls Belator, the first alchemically modified super soldier. He fights hordes of enemies coming from other dimensions, rescues surviving students and tries to restore lost knowledge.
