Zero-K

Zero-K is a real-time strategy game. The indie project allows you to conduct large-scale battles on land, water and in the air. This RTS has sophisticated physics and ballistics. During battles, the landscape changes. You can even level the ground to suit your tactical needs. The game allows you to create craters for enemy tanks, dig ditches and build embankments, hide soldiers behind hills so that enemy shells do not reach them, dig water channels for the passage of your fleet through land, place soldiers on high ground for better visibility and increased firing range.

Zero-K is the spiritual successor to the cult Total Annihilation and its ideological successor Supreme Commander. There are more than 100 types of units here. They must be placed wisely, since combat units can hit allies during firing. Warriors are capable of accepting any formation. They can also kite and shoot in zigzag patterns. Users control various drones and bots. They also control the commander. Only he can construct buildings for the production of units and military equipment. The purpose of the battles is to destroy enemy commanders and protect your protégé. You can try to overwhelm your opponent with numbers, make a small army with an emphasis on micromanagement, or throw all your resources into leveling up your main character and try to attack someone else’s base alone.

The game has a campaign consisting of 70 missions. There are also about one hundred cards. You can fight with bots or live players. Training is provided for beginners. In multiplayer, you can play in co-op, organize duels, organize battles with the participation of 16 people on both sides, or conduct fights so that each participant fights for himself. In addition, there is a ladder, tournaments, the opportunity to be a spectator and watch replays.
