Little Orpheus

Little Orpheus takes players on the adventures of a Soviet cosmonaut named Ivan Ivanovich, set in 1962 as NASA attempted to land on the Moon. The protagonist finds himself in Siberia, going to study an inactive volcano. The storyline is told from the perspective of a man who was able to return after 3 years of research, having lost the Little Orpheus nuclear bomb. The hero reports to the general in a bunker located under the Ural Mountains, retelling the story of his adventures to the center of the Earth.

The story in Little Orpheus is set in a science fiction setting, where you will explore the lost places located under the surface of the planet. Ivan Ivanovich will find himself among the ruins of ancient civilizations and underwater kingdoms, visit the prehistoric jungle, meet a clan of humanoid creatures and run away from dangerous monsters. The game is a side-scrolling platformer where you have to overcome terrain obstacles and solve puzzles.

The project shows the atmosphere of an adventure movie such as "Flash Gordon", "Sinbad" or "The Land That Time Forgot". Players will have to make their way through corridor levels, dodging traps and meeting colorful characters or underground monsters. The game is an improved re-release, with improved textures, effects and animations. Gamers will also be able to play through the new 9th episode of A Rush of Onion to the Head and try out the gameplay of Lost Recordings.
