The atmosphere in GNOSIA is filled with a detective mood, where the hero will have to investigate various complicated cases. The universe of the game is presented in the form of an alternative future, where there are mysterious creatures called “gnosis” that pretend to be people and trick their way into their victims. The protagonist needs to find out who is the real person and who is the killer masquerading as a pretty girl. The game is made in the role-playing visual novel genre, where you have to rely on social deduction and unravel the secrets of the characters.

Users in GNOSIA will talk to various individuals, trying to find out the truth through the right questions. You will have to read the dialogues between the characters of the novel, which contains elements of randomness and random events. The protagonist will have to interact with the suspects to make a decision. If the guesses point to a "monster", then this person will be put into cryogenic sleep to clarify the circumstances. The project is imbued with a sci-fi setting, where you will have to play different roles in order to bring suspicious people to light. As you progress, the main character will upgrade and gain new abilities that will allow him to more effectively identify creatures dangerous to society. The protagonist can become a victim himself, so you need to carefully select your lines in dialogue.
