Envy the Dead

Envy the Dead is a project that successfully combines many mechanics and genres, created by a programmer from the race. The plot tells about a group of randomly generated survivors in conditions of total extermination of humanity due to the sudden end of the world caused by an unknown virus, which turned the majority of the human race into the walking dead - zombies.

The toy is a bagel with a combat system from the tower defense genre. All locations and levels are created anew with each playthrough, which increases the level of replayability and makes it possible to improve the management skills of your own squad, because the success of the operation largely depends on the selected group for a specific task. There are also mechanics from the survival genre. For example, the need to replenish food supplies, because a hungry team will cope worse with difficulties and may die. Sometimes there will be a choice: who will eat today and who will starve for overall survival. You can also die from the clutches of vile undead creatures, which makes the passage much more difficult. The main goal of moving around the extinct city will be to find shelter with other survivors to join forces.

On the streets, the team of protagonists will be faced with many random events, such as: a meeting with bandits who can take someone from the group prisoner, finding a survivor ready to join the squad, or a cache of supplies. Many meetings will require the gamer to make difficult decisions that affect the lives of team members.
