Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is an isometric role-playing game based on the iconic Warhammer universe. Its setting mixes grimdark with science fiction. This product offers you to travel through space on a huge ship, visit different places, chat with colorful NPCs, level up, complete quests, and participate in battles. All battles here are turn-based and tactical.

They are divided into 2 types. In battles on starships, you can move your transport across squares, use the skills of crew members, fire a salvo from the left and right sides, fire torpedoes, shoot a beam, activate turret guns. During fights on planets, you need to control a squad of 6 creatures. They are able to move around the map, hide behind cover, use the landscape to their advantage, throw grenades, fight in close combat, use firearms, and use special abilities.

The game is also known under the slightly modified name Rogue Trader: Warhammer 40000. In it, the developers tried to adapt the rules from the tabletop Warhammer. The video game adaptation takes place in a dangerous and little-explored region of space called the Kronus Expanse. It is considered the outskirts of the Imperium and consists of many systems. The player takes on the role of a Rogue Trader. The plot here is non-linear. The user can remain faithful to the God-Emperor or join the enemies of Humanity. He is even allowed to take xenos into his team. You can also hire psykers and warriors. The gamer's decisions influence not only the development of the overall story and the fate of his players, but also change life in the entire sector.
