Ion Fury

The Ion Fury project was originally conceived as a prequel to Bombshell and was called Ion Maiden, but due to a complaint from a metal band, the sign had to be changed. Later, the concept of the game changed and appeared in a new image. The main character is Shelley Harrison. She is a professional sapper and secret agent who has received a special mission to eliminate the crazed Dr. Heskel, who leads an army of transhumanist cultists.

You will have to fight on the neon streets of Washington not only with the people of a mad scientist, but also with augmented soldiers, spiders, biomutant drones and various monsters. Events will take place in strip clubs, bars, eateries and back alleys. While finishing off her opponents, Shelley will make obscene jokes, since the local adversaries ruined her rest and broke the bottle of her drink.

The girl uses the Lover revolver, which has 18 charges in stock. Also stored under her skirt are submachine guns, a shotgun, a grenade launcher, a Gatling gun, a crossbow, and homing bombs. Any weapon has an alternative type of fire. The world around Ion Fury boasts interactivity. You can look in the mirror, interact with the toilet lid, knock Coca-Cola out of the machines, play the piano, stick your fingers in the socket (for fun) and replenish your health with delicious pizza.

The antagonist was voiced by none other than John St. John - the Duke Nukem of the entire industry! There is a bold reference to this game when our protagonist had an argument with an ATM and he sprayed coins at her with the words: “Shake it, baby!”, which serves as a reference to old Duke. The difficulty of the game is very hardcore. At the same time, you will have to suffer significantly on levels with bosses, including mechs, twin robots and a flying ship. The gameplay of killing opponents is diluted with puzzles. In some sections you will need to bypass traps represented by deadly bloody saws or puzzle over how to get to the next secret item.
