FAITH: The Unholy Trinity

FAITH: The Unholy Trinity is an indie horror with an unusual presentation. The project has minimalistic pixel graphics in a retro style. Moreover, there are full-fledged cut scenes using rotoscoping. The creators also added synthesized computer speech. The plot is about the confrontation between a church minister and a satanic cult trying to summon a powerful demon. The action takes place in the 80s in Connecticut. John Ward tried to save the possessed girl Amy using exorcism. As a result, he triggered a series of terrible events and ended up being the only survivor.

FAITH: The Unholy Trinity is divided into 3 chapters:

• The first tells about the return of a churchman to a house with a terrible past;
• The second tells about the further life of the miraculously surviving priest and his new nightmare;
• The third is about his journey into the wilderness and the fight against crazy sectarians.

The horror film is inspired by old 8-bit games and the religious paranoia that reigned in the United States at the end of the last century. The gamer will explore temples, sanctuaries, abandoned churches and forests, encountering brutal violence, bloody deaths and paranormal phenomena. His protégé can use a sacred crucifix to ward off hellish evil spirits and firearms such as shotguns. The game has several endings, including secret endings.
