Divine Frequency is a whirlwind shooter with elements of role-playing adventure and horror. The gameplay is inspired by old-school shooters like Doom and hardcore RPGs like Bloodborne and Dark Souls. The gameplay is presented exclusively in hardcore mode. Every enemy poses a serious threat. There are also many NPCs from whom you can take side quests. Secondary missions help you gain more experience points to level up and make battles with monsters easier. The mechanics of Divine Frequency are tied to hurricane firefights and tactics, where every action taken is important.

Several levels are available, where you will need to engage in battle with unique enemies and bosses. The leaders await at the end of each level. There are shortcuts that help you quickly reach bosses. There is both incredible cruelty and humor. For example, there is a quest available that requires a hungry demon to bring a chicken. There are also some completely absurd deaths.

You can carry 8 guns at the same time. All barrels fire unique charges and have their own set of characteristics. All levels contain numerous secrets and hiding places. Some can only be found by the most experienced players. The gameplay is based on exploration. You can find numerous auxiliary items to help you pass. Strong bosses are especially dangerous. You will need to look for an individual battle strategy and try to determine both their strengths and weaknesses.
