The Darkside Detective

The Darkside Detective is an interesting and simple puzzle game made in the detective quest genre. It presents many elements of mysticism, and the criminals are very unusual.

The plot of the game tells us about a young detective named Francis McQueen. He is engaged in yet another investigation into a whole chain of supernatural crimes. Very unusual and fabulous things are happening in the city, which indicate the terrible acts of various mystical groups; they use dark forces to harm society. The entire story consists of several episodes that are completely unrelated to each other and do not form one storyline. There are 6 unique chapters presented here, they tell about otherworldly forces and their interactions with people. Each task is a completely different intriguing story.

The gameplay consists of a huge number of puzzles and searching for objects; also a mandatory item is the exploration of territories and the search for evidence that will help in further elucidating the motives of criminal organizations. The game is made in pixel style and perfectly matches the plot and creates its own unique atmosphere. There are no creepy ghosts or monsters in it, but on the contrary, it is filled with humor and jokes. Musical accompaniment does not put us in a state of fear, but only lifts our spirits. We have to unravel a whole series of incredible and terrible events. The detective will not be able to cope without your help; help him prevent the terrible consequences of the organizations’ activities.
