American Revolution puts you in the shoes of the American colonists fighting the British Empire for control of North America. This is a real-time strategy game with a detailed 3D map. You create your army and navy, build military infrastructure, and command troops down to the regiment level. For a more intense experience, you can zoom in and fight large-scale battles at the battalion level. Battles take place in real time on a global map. Generals provide tactical advantages, but do not control everything. With their help, you can directly control troops and ships, maneuver forces, cut off enemy supply lines, exploit terrain and flanks with cavalry. Zooming in allows you to fight in even greater detail and control hundreds of units.

Intelligence is realistic. Messages form the basis of your reconnaissance and battle plans. They can be delayed or intercepted, leaving your troops in the dark or cutting off communication with distant territories. Building a strong army and navy is crucial. Form infantry regiments, cavalry squadrons and fleets. Appoint experienced officers and equip your units with the best weapons to achieve maximum efficiency. The key decision: create new units or replenish existing ones? This choice can significantly affect the course of the war.

Victory depends on the leadership of the troops and the development of regions to provide food, weapons and ammunition. Build military installations to train special units and accommodate the army for the winter. Create an infrastructure for collecting supplies and plan supply routes for the fighting forces. Remember that armies and fleets need a strong industrial base. Produce rifles, cannons and build ships. Every shot requires ammunition. War consumes huge amounts of supplies. You will need to organize production and set priorities to meet the needs of your army.

Finally, work out the structure of the army in detail, creating and managing the main departments. Deal with finances, assign the right people to each department and directly influence the effectiveness of the army in combat, reconnaissance and supply management.
